Our Process

We design, order and install custom cabinetry in a way that few custom kitchen companies can duplicate – with an eye toward ultimate functionality, and long-lasting beauty and durability.

Our process begins with total absorption in your project. We purposely limit the assignments we accept to ensure that our customers never take a back seat to a new project in our queue. Not surprisingly, our level of attention to detail comes at a price that only the most discriminating customers will appreciate. That’s how we operate and how we built our business: through honest-to-goodness specialization and quality. We are not successful because of volume; and we will not let you down when it comes to creating the kitchen you have been dreaming of.

Our goal is to give our clients the best experience possible, while delivering timeless designs and quality millwork.

1. Design Consultation

Our process begins with a complimentary design consultation- either at your residence, or at our studio in Madison, NJ. The goal of this consultation is for us to gather as much information about your project as we can and relay as much information as we can on our part-which includes our process, our timeline and associated budgetary costs.

2. Planning

If the budgetary costs and timelines suggested in our consultation meet your approval, we require a design retainer (which is credited to cabinetry purchase) to hand draft all elevations with up to two revisions. Upon final design approval, a 50% deposit is required to process the order of your custom cabinets.

3. Materials

Every custom cabinet is built from specific measurements unique for its place in the kitchen. We then review the work order to ensure that every minute detail of every cabinet is exact before delivery, which can take up to eight weeks. If we aren’t involved with ordering appliances, countertops, lighting, etc., we make sure that you and your builder know when these items should be on hand so that everything comes together according to plan.

4. Installation

The day your cabinets are delivered is a giant leap toward the completion of your kitchen! Your cabinets are delivered and unwrapped onsite for your, and our, visual inspection. Because every detail has been measured to the hundredths of an inch, our craftsmen can now begin the intricate work of assembling all of the cabinets together — side by side and to the walls, and ready for countertops, appliances, plumbing fixtures, tile backsplash and lighting.
